At My Manor we have created a lifestyle that offers interaction and privacy. Our residents enjoy the social benefits of the common areas they share with other residents, the dining room, living room, recreation, TV room and patio. They also treasure the privacy of their own bedrooms and the freedom to venture out, always accompanied by a carer.

We work hard to help each resident develop a routine that they feel comfortable with. For the more socially active, this may be no routine at all. For others, especially those suffering from memory impairment, it is usually a strict personal routine that helps them stay within their comfort zone.

Through our individual care programmes we assist our residents to live as full and independent a life as they are able within a warm, relaxed, safe and secure environment. Morning exercises are held in the patio. To keep their minds active we hold karaoke, bingo and quiz sessions. For special occasions, we hold High Tea, Birthday and Dinner parties. Should our residents want their own privacy, they can retreat to the comfort of their own bedrooms.

Family and friends are encouraged to visit at any time. At My Manor there are no set visiting hours.  Most of our residents are in bed by 8.30pm, so we ask for your kind consideration to avoid late visits.
