A note from The Owner…………
The faces of my residents tell a thousand stories. Stories of love, joy, patience, endurance, sadness and pain. There is never a dull moment.
In 2003 while I was living abroad, my beloved Mother who was 67 living alone in the South of Malaysia, suffered a stroke. It made her paralyzed on one side of her body and she lost her speech. She had to be put in a nursing home. It was a difficult time for her as one can imagine. She was very unhappy in the home as she did not receive the love, care and help needed. As a result she gave up hope. She suffered two more strokes in a short period of time and sadly passed on.
This left a void in my heart as she was still young and I miss her so painfully. I then decided to devote my time caring for the elderly. In mid 2008 I started My Manor. The following year we reached full occupancy and have been consistently so.
In My Manor, we are like a small family. Together with my team, we strive to maintain a caring, loving, peaceful, comfortable, and happy atmosphere for everyone. Everyday is a new beginning and some are more challenging than the others. We cope!! I live on the premises and am ‘hands on’ with my residents
My Manor is one of a kind, there is no other branch anywhere. Please feel free to drop me a line.
God Bless!
Janet.
